It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas...

I wish I could say that I had an exciting time since I last left this here yesterday, but I didn't ANYTHING last night. I wanted to watch Grey's Anatomy, but compromised for Heroes since it's been recorded since Monday.

I haven't had much to do here today either. I studied for the most of the morning, but that just gets old after a while, so I've been internet browsing this afternoon. I noticed that Gero Hero has apparently decided to take a stab at the rockbank craze. I don't know how I feel about the drums though. They look kinda goofy. I can't buy anymore video games until after I pass my exam anyway... my exam is always in the back of my mind.

I'm getting excited though... everyone is beginning to put out Christmas stuff, and that makes me smile. I've been trying to figure out where I can put a tree in our apartment. Matt thinks I'm ridiculous b/c I want a tree so he told me get like the 12 inch tree. Ha! I don't want a huge tree (atleast right now) but I would like a small 2-3 foot tree. I will find a place to put it!

I wonder what theme I want to do. I'm not sure if I really want the hodge podge tree or if I want a nicely color coordinated tree. I know one things for sure though... it will be fun deciding! I'm going to make bows no matter what b/c I like them on trees. I like going to the Mall during Christmas time, especially Dillards and Macy's so that I can look at all their trees! It'll be fun decorating the appartment and getting stuff for our first Christmas together.

We've been trying to work out our holidays lately b/c Christmas falls in the middle of week. People have yet to realize that Dec 26-31 is a pretty busy time in the public accounting world everyone closing their books. I'm not looking forward to all those inventory counts, especially, the pipe yards. That was a traumatizing experience last year!

I don't think we have any plans this weekend. I had talked with a couple girls from my office about going to some jewelry store on Saturday morning, but I don't think that ever got finalized. Most of the time I end up watching all my shows on DVR while Matt continues to snore loudly.

Speaking of snoring loudly... oh my gosh. He has been snoring SO LOUD! Most of the time if I get to sleep, then it doesn't bother me, but he woke me up the other night. I try to be nice, but there are sometimes that I just can't take it so I start poking, nudging, I think I've kicked before... it's awful.

Reunited With My Love

Last night after I left work... I went by Wolf Camera and picked up some pictures that I had printed for our bedroom. Of course, I didn't have any frames for them, so that was definitely put on the to-do list. By the time I got home, Matt was out of school, so he called and asked me to meet him over at Gringo's in Sugarland... he didn't have to ask me twice!

Anyway, after we ate dinner, he had to go back to work and he told me to go buy picture frames; thus, I found myself at Hobby Lobby. BIG MISTAKE! Alas, I was reunited with my long lost love of the popular chain craft store. I felt all warm and fuzzy inside as I browsed the aisles... I found so many things that would look perfect in my house too! We're in the process of getting our bedroom decorated and have appropriately chosen a lovely black and gold theme. I'm telling you it must have been a sign from God walking into that store. Everything they have is black and gold right now! Although I am proud to say that I contained myself to what Matt and I deem a "reasonable" amount.

Anyway, so I rescheduled my exam this morning to October 27... I figured that was the smart thing to do considering I was scheduled to take the test in less than two week and still haven't made it through the book. Now I have plenty of time to study.

I've been here since 7 this morning, and I have absolutely nothing to do. These are those days that I feel like being here is such a waste of time. I could waste time in much nicer ways at home!

Anyway... I just got 5 minutes of work to do....

Killing Time...

I came back to work on Monday, and I have to admit I was a bit disappointed to find out that the only reason the building has power is due to 3 HUGE FREAKIN LARGE generators outside. I'm not gonna lie... I wanted another free week of vacay! Anyway, traffic has been awful this week. I went down Westheimer on Monday... at 6:30 and it was awful so I took the tollway on Tuesday and it was worse. I'm ready for all you Non-EZ Tag people to get off my tollway!!! The drive home on Tuesday was the worst, so I am leaving at 3:30 today. Bye see you... I'm outta here!

I'm ready for the weekend. I have a whole lot of nothing planned. It should be fun. I need to start studying again pretty soon though. My test is going to be here before I know it. *Sigh* I'm so ready for this CPA test to be over. At least I have some of the sections out of the way.

I think Matt has to work tonight, so I'm not sure what I'm going to do. He wanted me to hang out at work until he gets out of school, but I think he's seriously on crack. I'm not staying at work longer than I have to!

I've been feeling kinda funny lately. It's the weirdest thing... but maybe my schedule got all messed up from the Hurricane and lack of work. Who knows...

Anyway, so it's been like 4 months since I last said anything so I figured that I would post some pictures. We waited like 3 months for our wedding pictures, and Matt tells me I'm obsessed but whatev... I waited 23 years to get married and it's the only wedding I'll ever have to be obsessed with, so I'll enjoy my obsession until the new wears off!

I had this picture blown up and it's hanging proudly in the living room now. One of these days I want to get a nicer frame for it, but it works for now.

This wasn't a fave from the beginning, but I like it a lot.

Well anyway... I decided not to fill the post every picture I liked. I have 2000 to pick from... maybe I'll post one each time until I get bored. I want to do a scrapbook eventually. I'm just overwhelmed right now with where to start. Hopefully I'll have more time after I pass my exam. It would be ideal to have our dating/engagement/wedding done before we have kids. That gives me about 5 years... hopefully that'll be enough time!

So Here We Are...

I've been thinking about re-entering the blog world for a while now, but no time has ever seemed quite as perfect as today.  I got up and came to work... early for once only to find that I have NOTHING to do.  So I've been sitting here for the past 3 hours, and I figured I could at least pass the time.

April 25, 2008- exactly 22 days before I am getting married.  I am soooooo ready for the next 22 days to be over.  I am sick of the stress, and the tears, and everything that comes with trying to plan a wedding.  This weekend I am going up to Tyler for the lingerie shower.  I'm excited about seeing my friends, but I'm still not too sure how I feel about this whole scantily clad thing.  I go buy things and then decide that I won't ever wear them, so there I am standing in line again with a bag full of returns.  

I'm also meeting with the florist this weekend, and the pianist, and venue.  I think that I will be so relieved when this weekend is over.  All the wedding plans will be finalized and all that will be left me to do is show up! 

I wonder if Matt will cry?  I've already accepted the fact that I need to stuff a box of kleenex down the dress b/c I'm going to cry.  I cry thinking about it, but secretly hope that maybe all the tears will come and I won't be crying my eyes out that day.  

Geez... I am ready to go home.
